Reset workspace data safely
Sometimes you want a clean start — after exploring with sample data, after a test import, or before onboarding your real catalog. Workspace reset wipes the data without dismantling the workspace around it.
What reset removes
Resetting removes the workspace's data: catalog items, retailers, runs, recommendations, alerts, policies, schedules, threshold overrides, and import artifacts. It's also the way out of sample mode if you loaded the demo dataset.
What reset keeps
Your team and their roles, your plan and billing state, API tokens, integrations, notification preferences, and the audit trail all stay exactly as they were. Reset is about data, not membership or configuration.
How to run it
Owners and admins will find Reset workspace data in the Danger zone under Settings → General. It's deliberately double-gated — you confirm and then type the workspace name — because there is no undo. Resetting an already-empty workspace is harmless.
