Import what you sell

Get your whole plan catalog tracked in minutes instead of typing offerings in one at a time.

What you get

  • A plan catalog Services Pricing compares against every competitor vendor you add, on every check.
  • A CSV import path built for large catalogs, with row-level error feedback.
  • Every future check automatically includes whatever is currently in your plan catalog — nothing to re-trigger after an import.

Adding offerings manually

  1. Go to Settings → Plan catalog.
  2. Add an offering with its name, identifier, and list price.
  3. Repeat for each offering. This is the quickest path when you're just getting started or only tracking a few plans.

Importing via CSV

  1. Go to Settings → Plan import.
  2. Download the sample CSV shown on that page — it has the exact columns Services Pricing expects, including offering for the plan name and list_price for its price.
  3. Match your file to that format and upload it.
  4. Review the import results: rows that don't match the expected format are called out so you can fix and re-import just those.

Tips

  • Your plan catalog doesn't need to be perfect on day one; add or import more offerings at any time.
  • Settings → Billing shows catalog usage against your plan's cap — check it before a large import.
  • A workspace in sample mode blocks real imports — see Sample data vs your data to clear it first.
  • Keep your identifier column consistent between imports (a stable internal ID); re-importing with a matching identifier updates the existing offering instead of creating a duplicate.

Fixing a partial import

If some rows fail, the import results page lists each failed row with the reason (a missing required column, an unreadable price, a duplicate identifier within the same file). Fix only those rows in your source file and re-import; rows that already succeeded are left untouched, so you never need to re-upload the whole file to fix a handful of rows.
